It all started at the end of 2017. A new year was on the horizon and it occurred to me that I have chased everything BUT my passion. For the first time in 23 years,  I decided to make a new years resolution. I was going to make 2018 the GREATEST year. I ditched all the meat and dairy and become 100% vegan. I packed up and moved to Brooklyn; a NYC borough that has been my dream situation ever since I could remember.  While currently living in my DREAM borough, I decided to pursue my CAREER dream and thus Vegan Brooklyn Foodie was born!

 

Tell us about the bakery Vegan Brooklyn Foodie: VBF is an 100% vegan online bakery that specializes in #veganfoodporn. Baked goods are all made in small batches, made to order and homemade. I am a self-taught baker that doesn't specialize in fru-fru presentation but really focuses on the item looking #foodporn worthy and tasting EVEN better.   Our hope is to reach as many VEGANS and NON VEGANS to show them that transitioning to a VEGAN diet doesn't mean saying goodbye to those #cheatday foods. We believe in a #treatyoself lifestyle while teaching others to lead a cruelty-free and plant-based diet (with a cookie in each hand of course!).

FAQ

Is there a minimum cookie order? Starting 2019, there is NOT a minimum. However, keep in mind that if you are NOT picking up there will be a shipping cost so make your purchase cost effective;)

Are you in any stores? Not yet, we just started back in April, 2018. But we are looking!

Will you open a store? EVENTUALLY!

Will you be in any pop-ups this year? GREAT QUESTION. We are looking to be in A LOT more pop-ups this year that are not only in Brooklyn. Make sure you are following us on IG: @vegan.bklyn.foodie to keep up to date on all things VBF.

My package hasn't arrived yet: UGH gotta love parcel. Thankfully every purchase we administer a tracking number. So before you panic...check FedEx tracking online!...then panic

My cookies don't look as SOFT as your IG feed: We would LOVE all our cookies to arrive HOT&WARM&GOOEY. Unfortunately it is pretty unrealistic for a cookie to stay warm in three days of travel! Therefore we undercook our cookies which allows you to pop them in the microwave for 20-30 seconds...boom HOT&WARM&GOOEY.

Are your products GLUTEN FREE? The bold answer is NO. We do not make any gluten free products however we do do modifications for those avoiding gluten for a different lifestyle...however if you have a diagnosable disease we can direct you to another small business:)
