Can a cake BE any easier?

I wanted cake but I wanted it in under 2 minute. Boom: 2-min Protein Mug Cake


Are you craving foods that are Sweet? Salty? Buttery (Earth Balance-Vgn)? Sugary? Sounds like a cake problem which is a problem I have more often than not. The actual REAL problem is, I want a personal sized cake and I want it yesterday. If you are like me which come on if you are not craving cake...are you human?! I have a quick-easy recipe to satisfy all those taste buds.


First, grab a decent sized mug. Preferably a deep mug to allow for the cake to rise.


Combine the Following:

1 scoop of Any Vegan Protein ( I Used Optimum Nutrition-Plant Based Vanilla Protein)

2-3 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon (or more if you are a Cina-Lover)

Slowly add Almond Milk while mixing to get a batter like consistency (thicker is better)

1/2 Tbsp of Baking Soda


Place in Microwave for 30-45 seconds. 30 seconds for a soft-moist cake. 45 seconds for a rougher-drier cake (not my thing).


Immediately add:

1 Tbsp of Earth Balance Vegan Butter

1 Tbsp of Peanut Butter

1 Tbsp Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips


Each spoon full will have Sweet, Salt, Butter and Sugar....and chocolate and peanut butter. Enjoy.


How To Choose Your Toppings:

This cake can be topped with ANYTHING your heart desires (nuts, seeds, candy, chocolate, etc. But it also can be specific to the cake you are craving.
Carrot Cake: Top with nutmeg, Carrot Shreds (heat up the carrot shreds with the cake batter) and Walnuts
Strawberry Short Cake: Mix strawberries with the batter (add 5-10 more seconds for baking time), top with cinnamon+sugar and Vegan White Chocolate Chips (King David Brand)
Brooklyn Blackout: combine cocoa powder and chocolate chips in the batter and top with cocoa nibs
Birthday cake: Mix sprinkles into the cake batter. Mix powdered sugar with water until you get a thick consistency and pour over mug cake.
