Abracadabra Brooklyn is located along Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A Turkish local business that serves up restaurant quality home cooked meals in a cute & tiny cafe setting.

PAUSE:
Let me start this review off by saying something that is extremely important to me. PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES. Without the love and support of the customer, most small local businesses will close within a few months. Local business owners open up shop because they want to do what they love....every.damn.day. Invest in them because they are choosing to invest in their own passion, love and happiness.
Okay back to your regularly scheduled review: ACTION
I walked into this cafe at around 8:10 am, 10 minutes after it opened. A female worker (could be one of the owners) is already working hard in the kitchen preparing meals, cutting up vegetables and whipping up some baked goods for the day.Trays on trays of food are lined up on most of the counter space in the cafe. Workers are anxiously walking in and out of the cafe to get ready for the long day ahead. This perfectly imperfect and chaotic cafe offered up so many feelings of nostalgia because it felt like I was home watching my family cook. I loved the feeling. I felt the hustle.

Immediately, you are hit with a slew off baked goods. From loafs, to bars, to cakes, to pies and lets not forget their FREE FREAKING SAMPLES. They offered samples of their Inca Warrior Power Cookie and I would be lying to you if I said I only had one. A bar filled with coconut sugar, coconut oil, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, maca powder and chia seeds. If I didn't ingest 75% of the samples, I probably would have bought a bar for the road but let me tell you....these bars...GAME CHANGER. They have a super nice crunch but not too too hard. They have such an addicting taste to them (like I literally couldn't stop eating them) and they have a solid amount of chocolate chips. I will be back to purchase many of these bars (or maybe just take all the free samples).
What did I order:
Banana Bread: (V) (GF) Loaf made with nanners, coconut sugar, coconut butter, flax and a whole BOAT LOAD of walnuts. This bread was really good and reminded me of banana bread that my dad used to make. It's funny though because after I bit into it I looked a little confused and that's cause it tastes like "regular peeps" BANANA bread...like I mean the banana bread with the eggs and the butter. It made me question why everyone doesn't make their banana bread the (V) way because it was that.damn.good.
Iced Coffee with Hemp Milk: I asked the worker for an iced coffee with almond milk and as he is making it he goes "you want to try our other milk alternatives...we have FIVE....we have HEMP..." I immediately shouted HEMP back at him because I have never seen hemp milk at a food establishment and I was super excited about it. Coffee was really tasty with the hemp milk and I didn't need any sweetener!

Funny story about the ice coffee: I asked for their iced coffee and the worker goes "can you hold on for a second, I have to go buy ice". That is a small business for ya. I love them. I support them. I will be back to try their "magic entrees" packed with whole foods, veggies and grains.
Thanks for enjoying and visit our Bushwick location Abracadabra magic Deli too😍❤️🙏🏽🦄🔥
