Haab Mexican Restaurant located on 202 Leonard Street in Brooklyn fulfills every vegan's dream of that instragramable nacho-cheese pull.

So Haab, let me get this straight. I can get fresh guac, chunky nachos, thick burritos, crispy taquitos, crunchy tostadas and mile high tacos and I can get them delivered to my home?! I can die happy now.
If I had to label one genre of food as my all-time favorite it would definitely be without a doubt Mexican Food. So I would label
What did I order?
Seitan Nachos: Start off with a boat load of crispy corn tortilla's as a base. I think it is always an accomplishment if chips that are smothered in sauces arrives at your door with a certifiable crunch. Pile on some black beans. Usually, black beans are accompanied with a whole bunch of liquid that makes the nachos get lost in liquidy-ness but the beans were drained and flavored very nicely! Next up: Vegan cheese and sour cream. In my opinion, the BEST addition to these nachos. The cheese straight up tastes like queso and added such a nice creamy texture to these nacho! I was a huge fan of that topping and they didn't slack on it either which I respect. Next up, was their guac. I'm not too picky when it comes to guac. Guac is guac and guac is damn good. Then came the jalapenos and pico de gallo which added an awesome flavor and kick! Last but not least, was the huge pile of seitan.
Seitan: High-protein food cooked from wheat gluten....(I did not know that until 2 minutes ago)
They called this dish an entree for a reason. It is piled high with fixings and it is awesome in flavor

Vegan Tostadas: I had to look up what tostadas were after I placed the order because from the description they sounded amazing but I never had them before so basically I had to google everything that this restaurant had. The base of these was probably my favorite part! The tostada was shaped like a perfect saucer and was super crunchy and flaky and oily (the perfect amount to be comfort food). It was topped with baked tofu, refried beans, vegan cheese, vegan cream, tomato slices, onions, lettuce and avocado slices. Their baked tofu was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside! That texture combo was on point!

Price
Nachos: $15: In my opinion, 100% worth it. The size, the flavor, the texture and the ingredients all were worth +20$. So these nachos were a steal.
Tostadas: $10: These were also really really good but the nachos blew these babies out of the water.
If you are like me and you crave Mexican food every single day of your life then stop by or order in Haab's Mexican Restaurant!
Mexican is my favorite too!!!
