Toby's Estate Brooklyn located on N 6th Street has what most coffee shops lack: A Purpose.

Like every Brooklyn-er, I ventured out on Sunday at around brunch time for the perfect coffee shop to grab a seat, create this FABULOUS website and get a damn good cup of joe. I walked into @Tobysbrooklyn saw the long line and zero available seats and walked my butt out. I walked about a block and turned around. Something about that split second that I was in Toby's really sparked my interest I am not sure if it was the powerful natural light that lit up the entire Estate or that everything was spotless (like no spec of sugar left on the counter...trust me I watched them make sure of that) or that the equipment they used was State.Of.The.Art or that they had a class room specifically for brewing (Brew School). So yes, I turned my butt around waited on that damn line and grab a damn near perfect table.

My first cup of coffee (yes I had multiple...I was there for 5 hours....sue me): Almond Milk Latte. It is made up of their own Bedford Blend Espresso and almond milk. I took a seat, opened my lab top, drank this glorious drink out of a cute blue mug and became completely invested in my work. First. Time. Ever. The atmosphere was light and fun with the music switching between every Drake song and other pop artists that I don't love as much as Drake.

My second cup: Iced Almond Milk Latte. Ladies and Gentlemen, Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Just look at it. Visually: So freaking appealing. Taste: Insanely creamy with the perfect amount of light coffee. If you are one who loves the overbearing coffee taste that usually gives me a headache: Hot Latte is the way to go. If you like perfection: Iced, All the way.

Toby's also serves breakfast and lunch. They also outsource bakery items from Balthazar Bakery, Doughnut Plant and Ovenly. I did not try any food but I did see someone with the Acai Bowl and was tempted to ask if I could photograph it because man oh man did it look C.O.L.O.R.F.U.L. Not mad about it though because in the words of my good friend Arnold: I'll be back #Tobysbrooklyn.

*Side Note: One main reason Toby's is different from generic coffee shops is that they not only value their customers but their EMPLOYEES. You get the #positiveworkenviornment vibe immediately when all (and they have a boatload of baristas working the bar) have a smile on their face. Their website alone spotlights all the staff working tirelessly to make this Estate into an Empire. I respect business owners that respect and appreciate employees! Heres to you #tobysbrooklyn.
